My 5 Favourite Summer Flowers

Although I am writing this in September and there is definitely a new chill in the air lots of you are in full swing planning your summer 2023 and 2024 weddings. With this in mind here is a list of some of my 5 favourite summer flowers to help you plan beautiful and seasonal summer wedding flowers.

Dahlia - its no secret that I love a dahlia. These beautiful blooms come in a multitude of shapes, colours and sizes and make such an interesting addition to any bouquet or arrangement.

Hydrangea - I am slightly biased as I chose hydrangea for my own wedding blooms however, I do love these huge flowers. They are so versatile as you can break of delicate parts or use a whole had allowing a different feel depending on how you use them. Blues and reds are my absolute favourite.

Achillia - This is one of my favourite summer fillers. Achilia comes is a range of colours with its multi heads it is so pretty and a great substitute the the usual gypsophila.

Roses - what is a wedding flower list without roses. Technically available all year from the holland market but I am an absolute sucker for a British Garden Rose.

Scabiosa - these beautiful summer flowers come in a gorgeous variety of sizes and colours. With long stems they make the most beautiful floaty statement casually hanging out at the top of a bouquet.
