When Sophie and Lenny shared their vision for their dream wedding flowers, I felt drawn to be part of their special day. They envisioned a vibrant and joyful garden-themed celebration, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere for their loved ones.
The outdoor wedding was planned to take place under the enchanting Hare and Hounds Garden Gazebo, and luck was on our side with the weather. Despite a brief morning drizzle, the sun graced us, making the day absolutely perfect.
For the ceremony, we adorned the gazebo with two large urns overflowing with striking flowers like blue delphiniums, pink hydrangeas, trailing amaranths, and roses. A smaller urn served as a focal point on the ceremony table. Colours ranged from blues, to pinks, purples, yellows and everything in between.
To craft the aisle, we arranged chairs along the sides of the red carpet and added hanging foliage chair backs with a single flower and trailing tartan ribbon for a touch of depth and charm.The family tartan formed an important part of the styling finishing the bouquets and the chair back.
The reception took place indoors at the hotel. Round tables were elegantly decorated with stacked books supporting exquisite footed bowls filled with a burst of colourful flowers. The couple also brought in stunning colourful candles to enhance the overall look.
Sophie, an avid artist, dedicated time to create lovely paintings for each guest and crafted unique signage for the venue.
The show-stopping cake from T and Cakes was a true work of art. It adorned with an abundance of flowers, creating a breathtaking focal point.
Sophie and Lenny's wedding was not just a celebration of their union but also a testament to the power of creativity, love, and community. Every detail, meticulously planned and lovingly executed, came together to create an unforgettable day. It was a reminder that when love and artistry join hands, the result is nothing short of extraordinary.
