Jessica and James hosted their wedding at the beautiful Old Gore Barn in Cirencester (Yard Space).
They opted for a fresh and seasonal palette of white and green for their summer wedding florals in August which complimented the barn beautifully.
Fantastically scented stocks, roses, nigella and gypsophila were incorporated into the florals with lots of fresh seasonal green foliage making for timeless and elegant arrangements.
Jessica held a compact hand tied bouquet which showed off her stunning figure hugging dress. Her bridesmaids held bouquets of gypsophila which complimented everything perfectly. These were later used on the reception tables.
The Old Gore Barn has been so considerately restored that you can really style it as much or as little as you like. Using the giant foliage hoops in the venue we chose to compliment the natural style of the setting with lots of foliage in all of the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets and the ceremony and reception arrangements. Foliage swags with a single flower hung from the chairs as aisle markers making a beautiful aisle walk way for the bride and groom.
Simple jam jars of flowers sat on the ceremony table. These added some considered detail to the table without feeling too contrived. These then transferred over to the top table.
The couple choose to make a focus of the outside of the barn by placing two overflowing milk churn arrangements on the steps out to the lawn. These were enjoyed through the drinks reception and time spent around the lawn and fire pit for the evening reception.
Jessica and James had a relaxed reception with long table and sharing planners of food. So as to allow plenty of room on the tables we dressed these with bud vases in different heights and textures full with foliage and gypsophila. These floral arrangements perfectly added details to the reception tables without taking up too much space allowing guests to enjoy each others company and the wonderful food!
Jessica and James had beautifully abundant blooms for their day throughout the ceremony and reception. However, by choosing simple bud vases and then more blooms for their other arrangements they were able to incorporate everything they wanted for their day within their budget. This is a beautiful example of a timeless summer wedding.
