It is April, the days are beginning to warm up and get longer and Easter is fast approaching. Northing says Spring and Easter better than beautiful bright yellow daffodils and British varieties have started popping up in the great outdoors and in the shops. Daffodils are often overlooked as a wedding flower however, with some careful planning they can be a beautiful and seasonal bloom for a seasonal spring weddings.
For Emma and Adams wedding in April they wanted a seasonal and Easter style for the day. Daffodils are Emmas favourite flower and for this reason we chose a variety of beautiful scented and detailed narcissi to make a beautiful hand-tied bouquet. These were teamed with mini forget me nots in blue, yellow tulips and seasonal foliage.
Buttonholes also consisted of daffodils and foliage finished with twine and pinned beautifully to the groomsmen suites.
Emma and Adam decorated their round tables with jars of daffodils and mini eggs. Chocolate eggs acted as favours to their guests. A fun and informal beautiful spring wedding set in a stunning rustic Cotswolds Barn proving that seasonal daffodils can be stylish and beautiful.
